Four-year-olds don't estimate very well.

Ben took Art and Lewis for a walk around the block after dinner and when they got back Art was really excited to tell me about what he saw.  "We saw so many cool things!  We saw a THOUSAND mushrooms, or maybe eighteen...I don't know..."  Concept of 1000 apparently has not been internalized.
