"On a car ride!"

Image
We just returned from Art's first long car trip, a 10-hr drive to Indiana.

Art spends time in IndiNanna.

Foot in the belly.

Yes, that's a 'foot in the belly' as Art like to say. mystery-sex baby #2 is due April 15! And below is evidence that Jessica growing shape is stick-outy enough to catch the drips from her dish doing.

Mini Adventure!

Image
We took Art back to the model train museum the other day. Ben agreed that it was really cool. I was impressed that it lived up to my memory because I had really pumped it up in my mind. Anyway, these pictures are a testament to how cool Ben thought the museum was. We were there with our beautiful son, who was dressed pretty cute, and what did Ben take pictures of? The miniature hobos under a bridge and the miniature man in a short-sleeved shirt, shivering at a train stop in miniature Matlin, MN.

Big talker

Just wanted to jot down some of the things Art's been saying lately, and also record some of the mispronounciations that I will be sad to see go. - See you later alligator - I want some milk - Mama sing a song - Mama play the piano - Papa on a car ride - Papa, come home! - Arthur woke up! - Vap ewe um (vacuum) - Oat uh meal (oatmeal, of course) - Want to cook! - Move the stool. - Josh, put the broken ball away - I like it - Tastes good - Licious (delicious) - Snug as a bug in a rug - Want to clean it up Well, you can see that his sentences are getting longer and often have all their parts.  He's even getting the 'I' and 'you' straight now and then.  It's pretty exciting to see all the language get organized in his head.  But I will miss vapuum and oatameal when he gets those right.

Some new photos!
