I pee-ah pottee!
Today, Art ran around without a diaper and when he had to pee he said, "Pee?" So I said, "Do you want to pee in the potty?" He said, "Potty!" So we went to the potty and he peed! I got excited and called Ben. I told Art to say, "I peed in the potty." And he did. He said, "I pee-ah pottee! I pee-ah pottee!" (Edited 9/20/07 for spelling errors - Pee-ah never had a 'd' as previously posted.)

Maura and her dad Chris stopped by today. They got into the bike carriage thing and we went in many many circles.

This is a new video of Art making animal noises, playing with his friend Evva (who's four days older), and doing other stuff, all quite intensely.
State Fair, then Eva's house.
Arthur had a busy day today (Labor Day). First the state fair with Jess, Bubby, and auntie Em and uncle Mike. At the fair he ate parts of a walleye cake, pizza, turkey sandwich, and fresh squeezed lemonade. Then, off to Eva's house to play (below) while papa drank a gin and tonic and mama stayed home. All this with a 40-minute nap. Induro-baby.
