Ben's napping. Lewis is napping. Netta and Bails are napping. I just napped. Art is still at school. I have no obligations for almost 20 minutes until I wake and feed some babies!!! General health of all women in the house is good. Carma (our cat) is outside in the good weather and Netta, Bailey and I are mostly well, however we are all pretty sleepy. Actually N & B are too sleepy. They have been nursing less and less vigorously, haven't pooped since they've been home (except Bailey, once) and are probably "conserving calories" according to our guardian angel, Katy Miller, new friend who is also a lactation consultant with special twin interest (!). She's been over three times already since we've been home. We are paying her with gratitude, love and a little wine, as well*. And she got to see the pictures of the breech birth, feet first. (Anyone can see them by request, actually. It's pretty awesome and amazing.) Anyway, Katy is conce...

[written yesterday] We're five days into parenthood of four children, only a little over two days all together at home. I overdid it a lot this weekend because of my euphoria post-Warrior birth (!). It was fun, and fortunately my friends encouraged me to slow down and take it easy before I completely messed up my recovery. So today I focused on nursing and resting. I still only got two short naps (less than an hour each) and never got outside for the nice weather. It takes nearly ninety minutes to nurse. This is Ben, Jessica didn't have time to finish this but I'm posting anyway. Ahhh ha ha ha ha!
Who's who? [updated]

I know many folks have yet to meet these girls in person, but from the photos you've seen on the blog so far, can you tell who's who? Venture a guess in the comments and we'll update the post tomorrow night. Ooooh, a challenge! (In these two photos the babies are in the same order) [UPDATE: Netta's left, Bailey's right! Folks were about split down the middle which confirms my sense that THEY LOOK THE SAME! Jessica says she can tell the difference which I don't doubt. But to me right now, they're nearly identical.]
Week-old Charlotte.

Today I stopped by the hospital where Emily (Jessica's sister) and her week-old baby Charlotte are living. She looks alot like her pops Mike in my opinion, except with hair. Charlotte is doing real well and will hopefully be headed home with her mama and papa in a couple weeks or less. I think Emily is doing a really inspiring job of staying at the boring hospital day after day to hold and feed her growing baby. "It feels like I am Tom Hanks in the movie 'Terminal' except my movie is called 'Hospital,'" she posted on her Facebook page.
